How a food product's score is calculated
Three weighted criteria. Click a criterion to see the detail.

Calories, sugar, salt, saturated fat, protein, fibre: the base of the calculation follows the Nutri-Score method. It's the criterion that weighs the most in the final score.
30%Presence of additives
10%Organic dimension
Cap rule: if a product contains an additive deemed at risk, its score is capped at 49/100 — even if its nutritional quality is excellent.
How a cosmetic product's score is calculated
For beauty and personal care products, the method is different: no percentages, but a component-by-component analysis of the INCI list. A single at-risk ingredient caps the score.

The product's score is necessarily below 25/100, whatever the other ingredients.
Orange — moderate risk
The score stays necessarily below 50/100.
Yellow or green — low or no risk
No cap applies: the score then depends on all the other components — allergens, endocrine disruptors, irritants.
A product passes our filter first, only then does it show its score
The Yuka score doesn't replace our selection: it adds to it. Everything you find with us has already passed our health charter.
Our health charter
Over 200 banned ingredients: controversial additives, poor-quality sugars and oils, artificial flavours. A product that doesn't pass this filter doesn't make it into the catalogue.

Then comes the Yuka rating, exactly as it comes out of their database. Not all our products aim for 100/100: an indulgent alternative remains an indulgent alternative.

Excellent · 75 to 100 / 100
The score mainly helps you tell things apart: what you consume every day, and what's for occasional pleasure. Both have their place in a balanced basket.
