For the Doritos-style nachos

For the Mediterranean guacamole

  • 3 ripe avocados, kept chilled
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ½ finely sliced red onion
  • Optional: 1 jalapeño (seeds removed for less heat), finely sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ tsp guacamole seasoning mix
  • 2 pinches of salt

Recipe

Doritos-style nachos

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

  2. Brush the wraps on both sides with olive oil. Cut into triangles.

  3. In a bowl, mix the spices and nutritional yeast. Coat the triangles in this mixture.

  4. Spread them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    • 7–8 minutes for almond wraps
    • 10–15 minutes for corn wraps

    Flip halfway through baking. Let cool for extra crispiness.

Mediterranean guacamole

  1. Mash the avocados with lime juice, garlic, jalapeño, onion, paprika, and salt. Keep it slightly chunky if you like.
