Almond Flour Organic

What is the difference between almond flour and ground almonds?

Almond flour is finer than regular ground almonds: it is easier to work with in baking and gives a more even texture. It is used in the same recipes, such as financiers or macarons.

Does almond flour contain gluten?

No, almonds contain no gluten. Kazidomi Almond Flour is made of 100% organic almonds. It may contain traces of other nuts.

Can I replace wheat flour with almond flour?

Only partly. Without gluten, it does not rise on its own: replace 20 to 30% of the wheat flour in your cakes, or combine it with another flour and a binder for a wheat-free recipe.

Where do the almonds come from?

The almonds are grown on a small organic farm in Spain. The flour is certified organic.

How should I store almond flour?

As it is rich in fat, it can go rancid in the heat. Keep it cool, dry and away from light, and after opening preferably in the fridge, in its tightly closed bag or an airtight jar.
