What is the lithothamnium on the list?

A calcareous seaweed used in jam-making as a source of calcium, which helps the pectin set without added cane sugar. It appears in the Kazidomi recipe next to the fruit pectin. It is a technical ingredient: it brings neither taste nor colour of its own to the 310 g jar.

How does it behave in baking?
