Half-fat basmati rice is a great local, organic and fair trade rice. This traditional fragrant variety comes from a cooperative of small rice farmers from the Kashmir plateaus in Punjab. The harvest is not highly mechanized. Cooked for 16 minutes.

Instructions
Place one part of rice in 1.5 parts of boiling salted water. Cook over low heat until all liquid is absorbed. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep in a cool place after opening.
