This marinated tofu wrap with grilled peppers and Kazidomi vegan red pesto is packed with Mediterranean flavours. Easy to prepare, rich in plant-based proteins and vibrant colours, it’s perfect for a healthy and tasty lunch.
Ingredients
- 200 g firm tofu (pressed and sliced)
- 1 organic tortilla
- Grilled peppers in a jar
- Fresh basil
- Kazidomi vegan red pesto (for an intense burst of flavour)
For the tofu marinade:
- 1 tbsp tamari sauce
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Recipe
- In a bowl, mix the tamari sauce, turmeric, and olive oil. Slice the tofu, then marinate it in the mixture for 10–15 minutes.
- In a hot pan, cook the marinated tofu slices until golden and slightly crispy.
- On a tortilla, spread a generous spoonful of vegan red pesto.
- Add the grilled peppers, golden tofu, and a few fresh basil leaves.
- Roll the tortilla into a wrap and cut it in half.
