There are white, yellow, brown and black sesame seeds. We only use white, which is also used in bread making. Our sesame oil is reminiscent of hazelnut because of its very mild taste. It adds an Asian flavour to your dishes. Sesame oil should only be heated very gently. Mix it with your vegetables, fish, rice and pasta just before serving. Sesame oil is considered the pearl of macrobiotic cuisine.
