Peanut Butter Protein Bars (15 g protein/bar) Organic

Peanut butter bar or coconut bar: which one to choose?

The Pulse Protein peanut butter bar contains 9.1% peanut butter and a natural caramel flavouring: the typical sweet-salty taste of peanut. The coconut bar is built on desiccated coconut and cashew paste, softer and lighter. Both weigh 50 g; the peanut butter bar provides 14.3 g of protein, the coconut bar 12.6 g.

Is it suitable for people with a peanut allergy?

No. The Pulse Protein peanut butter bar contains peanut butter, 9.1% of the recipe. Anyone allergic to peanuts should choose another flavour from the range.

Can you take it to the office or on a hike?

Yes, that is what it is made for: individually wrapped, 50 g, no preparation. The Pulse Protein peanut butter bar fits in a gym bag or a jacket pocket. In hot weather the dark chocolate coating softens; a few minutes somewhere cool firms it up again.

Where is this bar made?

In Belgium. Pulse Protein uses organic ingredients; the protein dark chocolate is made from Fairtrade cocoa beans, coconut sugar, cocoa butter and plant proteins. The protein in the bar comes from pea and rice, with no milk or whey in the ingredient list.

How should you store these bars at home?

Keep the Pulse Protein peanut butter bar in a cool, dry place, in its sealed wrapper. The fridge isn't needed: cold hardens the filling and mutes the peanut taste. A bar left in the sun may melt; once cooled it is still fine to eat, the texture is just less neat.
