100% Seed Mix in Bulk Organic

Which seeds are in this mix?

Four of them: hulled pumpkin seeds, hulled sunflower seeds, roasted buckwheat and hulled hemp seeds, all from organic farming. The Kazidomi Vrac mix carries no salt, no oil, no sugar and no dried fruit. The bag holds 250 g and is sold loose by weight, like the rest of the range.

Seed mix or a single-seed bag: which do I need?

The Kazidomi Vrac mix settles the everyday sprinkle: four textures in one spoon, without opening several jars. A single bag of pumpkin, sunflower or buckwheat still wins whenever a recipe calls for one seed in particular, a pumpkin seed loaf or a buckwheat granola being the obvious cases.

How do I wake them up in a pan?

Toss them in a dry pan over a medium heat for a few minutes, shaking as you go, or add a splash of soy sauce that coats and colours them. The Kazidomi Vrac seeds come out crunchier and far more fragrant. Tip them onto a cold plate to cool before serving.

What do I scatter them over?

A salad, a porridge, a soup, a dip, a houmous, or a loaf and a home-made pastry before they go into the oven. Add the Kazidomi Vrac mix at the very end so it keeps its bite. It also stands in for croutons on a plate of raw vegetables, finer and denser.

How do I store it?

Somewhere cool and dry, in an airtight tub. Every seed in this Kazidomi Vrac mix is either hulled or roasted, so it is more exposed to air than a whole seed: the fat in it turns with warmth and light. A bitter taste tells you the mix has waited too long.
