Hojicha Tea Organic

For a delightful tea experience, the preparation is simple: place 1g of Hojicha (a flat teaspoon) into a bowl and pour 70ml of water at a temperature of 70-75°C. As the tea is powdered, it doesn't need steeping. Simply stir the powder before drinking. Good news if you don't have a whisk or frother: Hojicha dissolves more easily than matcha, so a simple spoon will do! Add more water if you like. This Japanese tea can be enjoyed with meals or on its own.

You can also replace the water with milk for a "hojicha latte." We recommend oat milk, either hot or cold—delicious! In summer, try it as an iced latte!

This Japanese green tea is also a fantastic ingredient for baking! Its roasted notes and woody aroma will add an enchanting flavor to your creations. Use it in cakes, ice creams, smoothies, etc.

Food pairing: Whether consumed as a drink or in a recipe, Hojicha pairs wonderfully with rich flavors like peanut butter, caramel, maple syrup, cocoa, vanilla... For a truly Japanese flavor, try pairing it with black sesame or matcha.
