Classic Matcha

For traditional matcha consumption, place 1g of matcha (roughly a flat teaspoon) in a bowl, then pour 70ml of water at 70-75°C. As matcha is a powdered tea, it is not steeped, but whisked! Whisk for a few seconds with a traditional whisk or an electric frother until a nice foam forms. Drink as is or add more water if you wish, or combine with milk for a comforting matcha latte.

We recommend oat milk. If the matcha tends to settle slightly at the bottom of your cup after a few minutes, that's a good sign! Just give it a little swirl and enjoy its many benefits.
