Ingredients

  • 360g penne
  • 100g green peas
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Frozen peas

For the pesto:

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 4 cups fresh basil
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Juice of 1.5 lemons
  • 40g pecorino
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

Recipe

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and cook the pasta.
  2. In a frying pan, sauté the zucchini with a bit of olive oil. Add the green peas.
  3. For the pesto: blend all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked, add the zucchini and peas and mix well. Then stir in the pesto.
  5. Plate and serve!
  6. Enjoy your meal!
