Sports Mix in Bulk Organic

What is in this mix?

Almonds pralined with hemp, made from almonds, hemp, brown sugar and fleur de sel, then cashews, dried bananas, raisins coated in sunflower oil, figs rolled in rice flour, hazelnuts and plain almonds. Kazidomi Vrac puts the whole thing together in France.

When do I snack on it?

During the day, before or after a sports session, on a walk or at a desk. The Kazidomi Vrac mix travels as it is in a small tub. A handful is enough, since dried fruit and nuts are dense; the 250 g bag covers several outings without taking up room.

Does it contain allergens?

Yes: almonds, cashews and hazelnuts, all declarable tree nuts. The Kazidomi Vrac mix also carries rice flour on the figs and brown sugar in the pralined almonds. It is therefore not suitable for anyone with an allergy to tree nuts.

Sports mix or banana chips: which to take with me?

The Kazidomi Vrac mix brings together nuts, hemp seeds and dried fruit: it is dense, salty and sweet at once, and takes a while to chew. Banana chips are crisp, sweet and lighter in the mouth. The first holds up better in a sports bag, the second gets picked at.

How do I store it?

In an airtight jar, dry, out of the light and away from heat. The nuts in the Kazidomi Vrac mix carry fats that go rancid in the air: a sharp smell means a batch has turned. Close the bag again straight after each handful.
