Black Soap Liquid with Linseed Oil

Which surfaces can it be used on?

Tiled, marble, wooden or linoleum floors, and also worktops, windows, mirrors and stainless steel. Kazidomi recommends testing on an inconspicuous area before the first use, particularly on porous or fragile surfaces such as bare wood and natural stone, where a diluted soap can still leave a mark.

How much should be used?

The Kazidomi liquid black soap is used diluted in hot water, the quantity being given on the label of the one-litre bottle. Hot water dissolves the soap better than cold. Do not combine it with another cleaning product: it works on its own, in its own washing water.

What is in it?

15 to 30% soap, water, potassium carbonate, glycerine, the trisodium salt of methylglycinediacetic acid, and linseed oil. Kazidomi has it made in France by hot saponification, at between 80 and 100°C, the reaction that produces the soap and the glycerine.

Liquid black soap or Marseille soap for floors?

The Kazidomi liquid black soap dilutes straight into the bucket and works for washing floors as well as for degreasing. Marseille soap, sold as a block or in flakes, is more for laundry and spot treatment. Both are soaps, but the liquid form is easier to measure out.

How is it stored?

In its original container only, capped, away from heat, as Kazidomi states. Do not decant it into a food bottle. In cold weather the product may thicken or turn cloudy: time back at room temperature restores it, without anything else being affected.
