The wakame algae is big type of algae and much appreciated by the Japanese. Ideal in salads, omelettes, soups and broths and to tenderize cereals and legumes. High in magnesium, calcium (10 times more than milk) and fibre. Soak in water 10 minutes before using. Low in calories, great for weight-loss diets.
