Ingredients

  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 200g red kidney beans
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 80g breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil
  • Optional: sauces of your choice

Recipe

  1. Blend the red kidney beans with salt and paprika until smooth.
  2. Peel the red onion and finely dice half of it. Finely chop one tomato and add both to the bean mixture.
  3. Add breadcrumbs to give the mixture a firm texture and shape into 4 sausage-like rolls.
  4. Cook the bean rolls in a hot pan with a little olive oil until nicely browned on all sides.
  5. Prepare the raw veggies: dice the second tomato and slice the remaining onion half into thin strips. Toss with a pinch of salt.
  6. Fill your hot dog buns with the bean sausages, top with the fresh veggie mix, and drizzle with your favorite sauces.
  7. Enjoy!
