Ingredients
- 4 hot dog buns
- 200g red kidney beans
- 1 red onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 tsp paprika
- 80g breadcrumbs
- Olive oil
- Optional: sauces of your choice
Recipe
- Blend the red kidney beans with salt and paprika until smooth.
- Peel the red onion and finely dice half of it. Finely chop one tomato and add both to the bean mixture.
- Add breadcrumbs to give the mixture a firm texture and shape into 4 sausage-like rolls.
- Cook the bean rolls in a hot pan with a little olive oil until nicely browned on all sides.
- Prepare the raw veggies: dice the second tomato and slice the remaining onion half into thin strips. Toss with a pinch of salt.
- Fill your hot dog buns with the bean sausages, top with the fresh veggie mix, and drizzle with your favorite sauces.
