Mushroom pasta gratin

Warm yourself up with this comforting mushroom penne gratin.

Ingredients

  • 300g pasta (here, buckwheat penne)
  • 400-500 ml cream (here, soy)
  • 400g mushrooms
  • 3 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • 1 pack grated cheese
  • Salt & pepper (thyme)

Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Cook the pasta in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  3. In a pan, sauté the mushrooms with olive oil. Add the pressed garlic after a few minutes and cook for another minute.
  4. Mix the mushrooms with the cooked pasta. Add the cream and cheese, and stir well.
  5. Top with an extra layer of cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 200°C (390°F).
