Sun tart with tapenade

Discover an irresistible recipe: the sun-shaped tart with black olive tapenade. This delicious Mediterranean creation is perfect for appetizers or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- Black olive tapenade
- Optional: sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, pesto, sesame or poppy seeds
Recipe
- Spread the black olive tapenade over one sheet of puff pastry, leaving a 1 cm border around the edges.
- You can add extra fillings if desired: pesto, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, sesame, or poppy seeds.
- Place the second puff pastry sheet on top.
- Brush the uncovered edges with a bit of water and press to seal the two sheets together.
- Optional: Brush the top with an egg yolk for a golden finish.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
- Place a small glass in the center of the tart and cut strips from the edge of the glass outward to create "sun rays."
- Twist each strip on itself. If the pastry becomes too soft to twist, chill it in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Remove the glass and bake for 30 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
