Sample Chocolate Plant-Based Protein Powder

What is in this chocolate protein sachet?

A blend of broad bean, rapeseed, rice and pea protein isolates, with cocoa powder, orange peel fibre, corn starch, a natural chocolate flavouring and a sweetener made from steviol glycosides. The Pulse Protein powder runs at 71% protein, and the sachet holds a single 25 g serving.

Chocolate or red fruit single dose: which one?

The chocolate sachet from Pulse Protein leads on cocoa powder, so the profile is frank and slightly bitter, and it suits milk-style drinks and porridge. The red fruit one is tart and bright instead, closer to a fruit drink in water. Both come as one 25 g serving, ready to tip in.

How do I prepare a single dose?

Pour a tall glass of water or plant drink into a shaker, add the contents of the sachet, close it and shake for around twenty seconds. Pulse Protein packs a full serving here, which does away with the scales and the scoop. The powder can also be stirred into a warm porridge.

Why several plant protein sources?

Because the Pulse Protein formula combines four isolates rather than relying on one: broad bean, rapeseed, rice and pea share the protein load between them. That is how the powder reaches 71% protein without depending on a single plant.

Where do I keep the sachet before use?

Somewhere cool and dry, out of the light, which is the instruction Pulse Protein prints on this individual format. As long as it stays sealed, the sachet keeps damp away from the powder. Once it is open it gets used immediately, since it holds exactly one serving.
