Dark Chocolate Hazelnuts Organic

What is in these chocolate-coated hazelnuts?

The coating accounts for 74% of the product: cane sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter and natural vanilla flavouring. Then come the hazelnuts, a little sunflower oil and gum arabic, which gives the shine. Every ingredient Kazidomi Vrac uses here comes from organic farming.

Coated hazelnuts or a bar of dark chocolate: what should I take?

The Kazidomi Vrac hazelnuts are picked up one at a time, a handy format for a break or the end of a meal. A bar snaps into squares and is eaten more slowly, with its cocoa content printed on the wrapper. Here it is the whole nut that gives the crunch under the chocolate.

Do they contain allergens?

Yes, hazelnuts, a declarable tree nut, sitting whole at the centre of every ball. The Kazidomi Vrac recipe holds no dairy ingredient, but a product packed by weight can sit alongside other dried fruit and nuts during handling, which allergic customers should take into account.

How do I store them?

Somewhere cool, dry and out of the light, in a well-closed tub. Above 20 °C the coating on the Kazidomi Vrac hazelnuts softens and turns sticky. Avoid the fridge: the damp there dulls the chocolate and softens the nut, which then loses all of its crunch.

Where are they made?

In Belgium. The dark chocolate goes on in an even layer around each hazelnut, with gum arabic giving the final shine and sunflower oil keeping the coating supple. Kazidomi Vrac offers them in a 250 g format, to be kept in an airtight container once the bag is open.
