Sweet Orange Essential Oil Organic

What is in the sweet orange bottle?

Organic sweet orange essential oil and nothing else, with no dilution. The botanical name Kazidomi gives is Citrus aurantium var. sinensis, the part used is the pericarp of the fruit, and the chemotype is led by limonene. The fruit comes from Mexico and the 10 ml bottle is prepared in France.

Sweet orange or lavender: which scent?

The Kazidomi sweet orange is pressed from citrus peel: the smell is sweet, round and fruity, and it reads as familiar straight away. Lavender, distilled from the flowering tops of Lavandula angustifolia in Bulgaria, is floral and herbaceous, drier and more aromatic. Orange is the easier of the two to live with.

How do I use this oil without taking a risk?

Diluted, always: a spoonful of honey, some vegetable oil or a sugar lump, at the daily amount printed on the Kazidomi pack and without exceeding the length of course stated there. The brand advises stopping use in the event of agitation or nervousness. The bottle is a food supplement.

Who should avoid sweet orange essential oil?

Kazidomi does not recommend it for anyone on treatment for high blood pressure, nor for pregnant or breastfeeding women, nor for children under six, and the bottle stays out of their reach. Before applying it to the skin, a test in the crease of the elbow shows whether a reaction follows.

How long does an open bottle stay good?

Citrus essences are the most fragile of the Kazidomi range: heat and air dull them faster than a leaf or a root oil. Screw the cap back after every use and keep the bottle away from a window or a hob. A scent that has turned flat or waxy marks an oil past its moment.
