Natural Collagen Mix

What is in this mix?

Bovine collagen peptides from Solugel, MSM, maltodextrin, acerola extract, citric acid, stevia extract, coenzyme Q10, biotin and bamboo extract. The Kazidomi pouch holds 450 g of powder. Since the collagen is of bovine origin, the formula is not a plant-based one and does not suit a vegan diet.

How is the powder prepared?

It dissolves into a glass of water, a fruit juice or a smoothie, at the dose printed on the packaging, which is 7.5 g a day, roughly a tablespoon. Kazidomi advises stirring until it has fully dissolved, then closing the pouch straight away. It goes into liquid at room temperature more easily than into ice-cold.

What does it taste like?

The acerola extract and the citric acid give a tart note, softened by the stevia extract, the only sweetener on the list. Stirred into fruit juice, the Kazidomi mix all but vanishes; in plain water the tartness stays noticeable. No synthetic flavouring appears anywhere in the composition.

Collagen powder or a collagen bar: what is the difference?

The powder dissolves into a drink and is measured out by the spoon, which lets you fold it into a preparation of your own. The Kazidomi collagen bars are ready-to-eat snacks with their own recipe, at 42 g each. Format and context of use are what separate the two, not the ingredient.

What precautions apply?

This is a food supplement, to be taken as part of a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle, without exceeding the stated daily dose. Kazidomi asks that it be kept out of the reach of children and stored dry, away from heat and light, with the pouch closed between uses.
