Spelt rusks for babies from 6 months Organic

Holle's spelt rusks for babies from 6 months are designed to gently support your child's weaning journey. Made with organic ingredients, they contain no added sugar—only naturally occurring sugars from grains. Their crispy texture helps stimulate chewing while easily transforming into mash for younger babies.

These rusks are suitable as a snack or as a base for healthy, filling meals. Two easy recipes are especially recommended:

• Milk mash: Crumble 3 rusks (approx. 34g) into a bowl. Boil 120 ml of whole milk with 60 ml of water, pour over the rusks, let soak briefly, and mash with a fork. Cool to around 37°C before serving.
• Fruit mash: Crumble 2 rusks (approx. 22g), add 140 ml of boiling water, let soak, mash, then mix with 100g of grated fruit (apple, pear, banana) or Holle fruit purée. Let cool to 37°C.

You may enrich the mash with one teaspoon of baby weaning oil. These rusks, made from biodynamic farming, meet the strictest standards in organic baby food. Perfect to vary textures and flavours daily.

Precautions: Never let your baby eat rusks unsupervised. Do not serve when lying down to avoid choking risk. Always prepare fresh meals and discard leftovers. Respect preparation instructions for proper nutrition. As with all carb-based foods, contact with sugary liquids can lead to cavities—maintain regular dental hygiene. Suitable only for babies with at least two teeth, who can eat small bread pieces, consume meals with small chunks, and sit up unaided. Always serve under adult supervision in a seated position.
