Iced Chai Tea

Ingredients
- 4 black tea bags
- 1L water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 slices of ginger
- 2 cloves
- 2 crushed cardamom pods
- orange wedges
- 1/4 teaspoon anise seeds
Recipe
- In a large bowl, place the tea bags, pour in the boiling water, and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags.
- In a large saucepan, combine the cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, anise seeds, and cold water. Bring everything to a boil.
- Reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for another 5 minutes, then add the tea and let everything cool.
- Chill the preparation in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Strain the tea (discard the spices).
- Serve in tall glasses filled with ice and garnish with orange wedges.
