Prepare a delicious homemade mulled wine, perfect for warming up winter evenings with its comforting spices and citrus fruits. This simple and quick recipe is ideal for the holidays or to warm up after a cold day.
Ingredients
- 1.5L red wine
- 250g coconut sugar
- 1 lemon zest
- 1 orange zest
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anise
- 2 cloves
- 1 small piece of sliced ginger
- 1 orange
- 2 pinches of nutmeg
Recipe
- Pour the wine into a saucepan.
- Add all the ingredients.
- Bring to a gentle boil and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, filtering the wine through a strainer.
- Slice the orange and place one slice in each glass.
- Enjoy your drink!
