Xylitol is a natural sweetener, produced from one of the constituents of birch wood, hemicellulose. This manufacturing process does not require the use of chemical solvents, and xylitol can be considered as a natural product as opposed to synthetic chemical sweeteners such as aspartame or acesulfame K. Xylitol has nutritional advantages and offers a healthier alternative to sugar, thanks to its very low glycemic index (7-8). It does not cause a blood sugar spike and is therefore particularly suitable for diabetics. Xylitol has a sweetening power equal to raw sugar, but 30% higher when cooked: in pastries, use 70g of Xylitol for 100g of sugar. Je l’utilise dans certains gâteaux. Attention à réduire la dose par rapport à d’habitude, au contact de la chaleur (vitaliseur)son pouvoir sucrant augmente.

Un indispensable !! A quand la version sucre glace ? Je l'a prend mais sur un autre site du coup... Très bon goût et indice glycémique bas et antifongique pour ceux qui on des problèmes de candida albicans.

Découverte pour moi ,sucre bcp plus que le sucre roux faut apprendre à le doser.tres bien pour les intolérances glucose fructose 👍
