Out of ideas for a snack? Think of our Lili's Tasty bars! Ideal to fill up with energy thanks to their good protein content, it will delight your children at the 4h break. It is not prohibited for adults either, of course! They can be stored in the refrigerator for 5 days and will help you out throughout the week. For 10 bars. To be added: - 90 g honey (or a sweet syrup of your choice, such as maple syrup, agave syrup...) - 40g of butter or vegetable oil resistant to cooking (coconut oil for example) Preparation : - Empty the contents of the jar into a bowl. - Select the dates and cut them into very small cubes. - Select the Brazil nuts and crush them coarsely. - Put the honey and butter in a pan and heat over low heat. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous syrup (about 5 minutes). Allow to cool for a few minutes (to prevent the chocolate chips from melting) - Add the dates, nuts and liquid to the contents of the bowl and mix well. - Line a pan (a cake pan or brownie pan) with baking paper and pour in the mixture. Put it firmly in the mold. - Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 175°c. - Leave to cool completely, keep in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
