About this product
Known as vegetable caviar or lentil caviar, the Beluga lens is a dry, black vegetable. Originally from Canada, it is rich in fibre, protein, vitamins and minerals. Well rounded, black and smooth, it attracts the taste buds of many gourmets. The black lenses are small and smooth, and have a fine hazelnut taste. Its sweet taste, similar to hazelnut and chestnut, is sublime in many preparations. Ideal as part of a vegetarian cuisine, it is ideal for mixed salads, vegetable terrines and comforting soups.
