About this product

Mirin is een natuurlijke zachte wijn die heerlijk is in meerdere gerechten. Mirin wordt gemaakt door de stoom van een speciale rijst te koken en de vermengen met gefermenteerde koji (net zoals rijst miso). Er wordt bronwater toegevoegd en zeezout en deze mix wordt opgeslagen om te rijpen zodat speciale enzymen zich kunnen vormen. Mirin wordt vaak gebruikt in sauzen (Terriyaki bijvoorbeeld).
