The Rhassoul : a Moroccan clay, essential to the Hammam, for the care of the skin and hair.
Mixed with water, rhassoul swells to form a very soft paste. Composed of very fine particles, this paste absorbs impurities and grease like a blotter. They are then eliminated by rinsing. This very gentle wash does not completely remove the lipoprotective film from the skin and hair, as surfactants too aggressive can do.
Rhassoul (rassoul) or ghassoul is a natural mineral clay used by oriental women for their hair and body care.This clay is extracted from the only known deposits in the world, located on the edge of Middle Atlas in Morocco.
