Tofu is a well-known substitute for meat, which is highly consumed, particularly in Asia, a region with which it is often associated. Before cooking it, you have to remove the excess water from the Tofu. By doing this, we allow the firm Tofu to better absorb the different flavours we want to give it. Then cut it into pieces (diced or sliced). When it is done, marinate it: soy sauce is often used to give it taste. But don't hesitate to be creative: lemon juice, garlic, onions, ginger, curry, paprika... Whatever ingredients you choose, let your tofu marinate for about 1 hour. Fry it in a frying pan with a little olive oil. As soon as your tofu is ready, you can insert it into your various dishes: salad, pasta, curry... etc. If you decide to crumble your tofu, it will easily replace ground meat. Stuffed vegetables, Bolognese sauce, minced meat... it's up to you!
