This superb bamboo matcha whisk is the essential accessory for making Matcha tea. It is also called Chasen. It is an integral part of the traditional Matcha tea ritual. It is used to mix Matcha powder with hot water to obtain a foam on the surface. The IRO Matcha Whisk is handcrafted from quality bamboo which is both strong and soft. It consists of about 100 strands. This gives a better result and makes it easier to prepare Matcha tea. Where classic Matcha whisks are usually made of 80 strands.

Instructions for use - Before using the whisk for the first time, soak its strands in a cup of hot water for 3 to 4 minutes. This will relax the bamboo. - Then rinse the strands thoroughly under hot water. Attention the bamboo is not suitable for the dishwasher. - Let your whisk dry on its strands in the open air
